Motorcycle Accessory Discount Super Store?

Greetings Captains:

Hope I'm worried for no reason. does anyone have any experience dealing with "Motorcycle Accessory Discount Super Store (http://www.madss.com) ?

Placed my first order on 15 March via their website. afterwards had some questions and tried calling their phone number, 1-866-623-7726. after 10 or 15 rings the line goes dead. been that way ever since. did get a return email after 5 days from their owner Scott Lukaitis, saying Triumph was shipping my parts later that week. had no other contact since.

Has anyone had any dealings with this company, good, bad, or otherwise? had my credit card stolen once this year and this tends to make me jumpy.

At this point I am not accusing this company of anything but possibly poor customer service, but am getting very nervous.

please post your stories if any...

No experience, but it is not unusual for items to take a week or two just to get from Triumph if the dealer doesn't have them in stock. If you paid by credit card or pay pal you should be covered either way.

I bought from them several times-always a good experience. 1-2 weeks to ship items. I have no issue with them.

could be coincidence, but just got my order shipment confirmation, although the UPS tracking number does not seem to work...

Just as in the movie Cool Hand Luke, it appears that "what we have here is a failure to communicate!" based on bad timing, coincidence and my past bad credit card theft experience the classic misunderstanding has happened.

please let me extend my apologies to MADSS. there was no intent to disparage in any way. as I stated earlier in the thread due to a bad past experience I was getting a bit jumpy.

Oh well, onward and upward...

Parts

My last parts order from the Dealership took 20 days. Seems that the dealer ordered the part from Triumph, Triumph took a week to send it out. Dealer recieved item 2 weeks after order and shipped UPS to me....madss is in the same shape as the dealership....GOOD GRIEF...HOPE I NEVER BREAK DOWN ON THE ROAD FAR FROM HOME........SB.
