Clearview 25"

I got my 25" Clearview put on last night and it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Next thing ya know I'll be thinking that the Chevy Caprice or Buicks for that matter are also good looking. And how about those SAS shoes? Anyway, I rode it to work this morning and it was mid 40's and I could tell a huge comfort difference. I just hope that it's the same benefit for the passenger. Changing the windshield hardware is like trying to put socks on a rooster I wish Triumph would sell that seperate. Maybe if I bought a $17,000 bike from them...oh wait, been there , done that. So if any of you Captains have a lead on gettin the chrome strips and the brackets I would appreciate it.

So you're wanting to swap back and forth between the Clearview and the Roadster? Ooo.. that would be a pain. I rode to work this morning with the fly screen and a broken finger.. Makes working the clutch interesting..

Yes, but if I had a second set of windshield hardware it would be a piece of cake.

Vented Clearview

I bought the 23" (GT23) Clearview with the cutouts for the fog lights. I like to look over the shield. Still had the turbulance! I added the lower deflectors. Got a little better. Bought another 23" Clearview without the cutouts. That did the trick.....no turbulance. It's hard to believe that the small area of the cutouts allowed air to come from underneath and cause the turbulance. But...it's true. Addionally, I bought the model with the adjustable vent. It is terrific in hot weather. Just adds a little breeze to your face. Totally blocks the air in the cold weather. I've been looking for a hardware set for years. It's a real pain to just change the shield!!!!!

Yes I have a Dodge with the roo bar on the front (never heard it called that before, I need to get out more often). I'm just waiting for SAS to come out with a motorcycle boot

We also call those bars....'Big City bars'. In big cities like Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit and Toledo, you use those bars to bounce the low life locals out of the crosswalks...............

Well.. we have a 29 year old who still lives with his Mommy at work.. (I couldn't even imagine living with my Mom at that age!) and I helped him move a table and he decided it needed to be jerked towards him an inch or so.. well, my finger was in that inch.. I guess my reflexes are slower as I get older.. lol

I have an F350 with a 'roo bar. Haven't seen any 'roos around these parts though. Deer, hogs, cows, and horses.. but no 'roos..

Just so I am clear, I need to buy the Triumph screen to get the hardware so I can bolt on the Clearview?

Just about to purchase an R3 and I am trying to get on firm ground. I am assuming a 6-5" rider is not too happy with the Triumph screen.
