quickie

Hi everyone,

Rockets are great.

I've thrashed mine as hard as I can up and down Western Australia and across Australia too. I live in Broome, where the desert meets the sea. The riding weather is pretty good all year although this time of year is pretty hot and steamy. Its about 700km to the nearest set of hills and most of the roads are pretty straight. I guess that is OK for top speed runs but I do miss corners.

Population of Broome is about 14000 and there are now 4 Rockets here. Mine was the first. Its a red 06 with Madaz pipes and makes my two old harleys sulk because they don't get ridden much anymore.

cheers for now

quickie

welcome quickie, those Hardleys make a good place to hang your coat and helmet when you return home, happy about your bike, but send pictures of hot and steamy 22 degrees here this morning

Welcome, Quickie. Glad you are enjoying your R3. Jealous of your weather. I rode to work in 35 degrees yesterday, but was 70 on the ride home.

Welcome to the site. Since your seasons are opposite of ours is your fall approaching with winter to follow?

G'Day Mate

Glad you've joined in and remember, a Rocket and flat roads beats a Solex and mountains every time!

Molinoman we only get 2 seasons here, the wet and the dry. Its wet season now which means hot, rain sometimes, lightning storms, cyclones and amazing sunsets. the dry will be here in a month or so with clear blue days and star filled nights until about November.

I was probably having a snooze too.

Great to make contact with you all. I'm looking forward to trying out one of your tunes Pig, when I can get tuneboy up and running again. It doesn't seen to want to talk to the rocket at the moment. I've got Wayne onto it for me. I'm looking for a cat bypass too if anyone has one to sell.

Cheers

quickie
