Stuff the tread pattern, I couldn't care less. I do, however, want softer, stickier rubber (on me tyres). Don't give a flying feck how long they last. No good having 2000 miles worth of tread left if it's upside down in a field.

So, how about it H, how is your rear? Bit personal I thought but assumed it would be puckering up a bit more often now you're pushing it.

Jefff

The combo of BST CF wheels and Pirelli tires is incredible... entirely different bike. Steering is lighter, more responsive, and the bike "flicks" like it was a 100lbs lighter. Read my review elsewhere on this site.

On the rear, the Pirelli is way stickier, and I regularly exceed 45 degree lean angles... with rear-rear sets.

I just put on my third Pirelli 240/70 ZR18 rear tire.

I'm only getting about 2500 miles out of each... but I've got over 220 ft-lbs TQ these days.

And that would not bode well for having a cigarette now would it?

It might work for putting it out however. (Just hold it between your fingers and rub it in the dirt which would be flying past)...............
