want to get burned, try touching any point on your exhaust including the rear mount bracket to the pegs.

I'm sure I'm gonna get some flak for this but I don't care for the symmetry of Sams pipes at all. What you are doing is turning a fine medium distance touring machine into a bar bike, which, is your choice, but not mine.

The headers protrude way too far from the exhaust spigots so you essentially have to assume a riding position with your right leg angled out in the wind, rain, bugs, whatever. Besides, a cocked sideways riding position is very uncomfortable for any travelling.

As hot as the R3 exhaust runs, even a spli second of not paying attention to your right leg poisition will net you a burn you'll never forget, especiall if you ride in shorts like most bar bikers do.

If you want a bar bike, have at it. They aren't my cup of tea.

everyone has their own likes and dislikes flip.. dont know why you think you'd get flax. i ride the bike in shorts back and forth to the shop and my leg position is the same as it always has been. dont have to put it out at any angle.

hey flip

soooooooooo, does this mean ya want to try my bike for a little spin, flipster? if you like it,i promise i won't smile too much. if you don't, well, that'll be o.k. too. either way,it'll be o.k. by me. and yes,i wanted to be able to run with any thing out there, from stop light to stop light to stop light. i hate to be embarrassed. but then,i like baggers too.so, i guess i made a very quick bagger. hell,it even looks good too.by the way,you can say what ever you want when i'm around.... i know a friend when i see one,
