Tabs On... Tabs Off

I finally got around to permanently mounting my fairing tabs to my tank. The fairing is secured to the tank tabs via body screws, which still allow the tank to be lifted without removing the entire fairing. Also finally cut the damn "bearclaw" tabs off the tank. IMO, it gives a much cleaner look... the fairing flows into the tank cutout. Obviously, it will be even better when painted.

Yes, I'm gonna' cut the riv-nuts off too... but it's a nice day, and I'm going riding while I can!

my dream is to buy a second rocket some day and strip everything off it that doesn't make it go, turn or stop

make a true Backstreet streetfighter bike out of it, just not with fanct carbon fibre
( no offense to those that can afford it)

bike is looking great Hombre, can't wait to see it at Maxton

Sounds like a fun project... I still can't believe the mass of the "fuel injected" plaque!

Got any other things to strip that I missed???

Thanks, Richard! Not quite done yet... needs finish paint and "big super exhaust".

My personal thanks to Richard and crew at TTS for the SUPERB custom intercooler setup!
